Central Employment seeks a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager for our client, a clothing manufacturer based in Stockton. The Branch Manager will oversee the retail store’s daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing the sales team, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Position overview.

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturday 10: 00 am – 12:00 pm ( option to work part-time off-season )

Rate of pay £13.50ph – £14.50ph

Pay cycle – weekly.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise all retail store operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management to minimize out-of-stock situations and overstocking.
  • Create and maintain visually appealing merchandising displays to enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally and on time, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations of the sales team and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure smooth store operations and alignment with company goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for both customers and employees.

Qualifications:

 

  • Previous experience in a retail management role is required, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and employees.
  • Proficient in time management and prioritization, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus, but not required.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven track record in sales management and achieving targets, with a deep understanding of sales principles and techniques.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with a results-oriented mindset.
