Quality Controller

Location: Hartlepool

Job Description: We are seeking a  Quality Controller to join our client’s team in Hartlepool. As a Quality Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the excellence and consistency of our concrete products. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of concrete products to assess quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Performing tests and measurements to evaluate product characteristics, including strength, durability, and appearance.
  • Recording and analyzing data from quality inspections to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records of quality control activities.
  • Upholding Health & Safety protocols and promoting a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in quality control or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
  • Ability to work 6 days per week (Monday to Saturday), 7am-4pm.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and techniques is advantageous.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and commitment to compliance.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
