Central Employment offers an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Assistant to join our pharmaceutical client in Cramlington. We are seeking an ideal candidate who is eager to gain valuable experience in a laboratory setting, choosing a practical path over the traditional university route.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain laboratory compliance with internal and external standards.
• Assist in supporting laboratory functions.

• Ensure regulatory and safety guidelines adherence.
• Prioritise health and safety, maintaining required standards.
• Support safety culture through reporting and training.
• Efficiently utilise time and resources.

• Support documentation review and improvement.
• Develop GMP procedures for compliance.
• Investigate deviations promptly, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Comply with Global Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines.
• Working within a cGMP environment.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• A-level/ BTEC/NVQ in Science Related Discipline
• Strong teamwork, planning, and organising skills.
• Forward-thinking with a solution-focused mindset.
• Ability to make informed decisions accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good time management and prioritisation skills.
