Plater Supervisor

Central Employment is currently looking for an experienced supervisor to work in structural steel fabrications for one our clients based in Wallsend, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Plater Supervisor to work dayshift, 37 hours per week.

In this role the Plating Supervisor will be responsible for managing men on the shop floor, the workforces Health and Safety, work in progress and maintaining shop floor production schedules

Responsibilities

Must be able to read engineering drawings and have basic computer knowledge.
A good understanding of workplace Health and Safety
Previous experience essential

Requirements

Strong leadership
Supervisory skills
Organisational and problem-solving skills

Rate of Pay £17 – £22

Shift Times & Days:

Dayshift – Monday – Thursday – 7.30am – 3.50pm early finish Friday

Location: NE6
