Central Employment is proud to be working with an international business currently undergoing expansion across the North East. At this stage, they now need an experienced MIS Executive who has experience working in an Industrial environment as an IT professional. While the specific industry they are open to, someone with a key understanding of the problems faced within Industrial manufacturing would be ideal. 

The right person for the MIS Executive position will have experience handling both Software and Hardware issues, ensuring they can adapt to a complex working day. Our client’s set-up is built upon a Microsoft set-up, so a deep understanding of Windows (OS10 and above) as well as Servers (2016, 2016, and 2022) is essential. To keep projects running, you will need to have worked on fast-paced group projects with strict time scales which you were able to complete as well as a high degree of competency in documentation.

Due to the nature of the industry, your working hours will be Monday – Thursday 7am to 4pm, the 7am to 11am on a Friday. Nice and early finish. All the work will be done on-site, based in Hartlepool.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
  • Managing secondary Active Directory or updating Active Directory information.
  • Managing Exchange server and setting email for users.
  • Assist in Group IT projects, assignments, and activities when required.
  • Ensures that Group IT Policies, Procedures, and Processes are following Group IT standards.
  • To ensure effective implementation of IT hardware and software for the site.
  • To make recommendations to the Management in improving and upgrading the Company’s IT facilities.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience of at least 3 years within a similar role.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends in supply chain management.
  • Professional certifications such as Digital Support Technician / Data Technician /Information Communication Technician are desirable.
  • Willing to work on-site
