Job Description:
We seek an experienced, Electrically biased maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment, plant, and services.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting breakdown repairs promptly and efficiently as requested.
- Performing TPMs (Total Productive Maintenance) and ensuring thorough documentation.
- Maintaining detailed records of completed work and pending tasks daily.
- Monitoring store stock and usage to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Adhering to best practice operation standards, focusing on health & safety, hygiene, and quality.
- Contributing to and completing project work on-site to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical/electrical schematic drawings.
- Experience with PPM systems.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Dedication to improving efficiency within the maintenance department.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime shifts and be flexible to meet company needs.
Advantageous Skills:
- Proven electrical skills, particularly within the plastics/injection moulding industry.
- 18th Edition Certificate preferred, but not essential.
- PAT testing experience.
Package
- Shift Pattern: Initially, a 2-shift rotating pattern (2 days and 2 nights)—potential for a 4-shift pattern within the next year.
