Sales Office Administrator- Temp to Perm
Central Employment is currently seeking an experienced administrator to join our client’s busy sales office in Pelaw, Gateshead, on a “temp-to-perm” basis. The successful applicant should hold a minimum qualification of GCSE level and showcase proficient technical skills developed over a minimum of 2 years.
- Process high volumes of sales orders using various software tools and programs.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills through email and telephone correspondence.
- Exhibit outstanding organizational skills using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
- Coordinate with management, production, dispatch departments, and customers to ensure on-time deliveries and meet customer expectations.
- Manage production workloads by effectively communicating sales order quantities to our production management.
- Work one Saturday morning every four weeks from 8 am to 11:30 am.
- Demonstrate numerical proficiency in processing orders with high accuracy and efficiency while handling incoming calls and queries.
- Possesses general office skills, including card transaction processing and maintaining payment records.
- Familiarity with a variety of office equipment is essential.
- Numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt and progress through order complexities during the “temp-to-perm” period.
- Willingness to undergo systems and product knowledge training.
Working Hours and Compensation:
- Standard working week of 35 hours (8 hours per day with a 1-hour lunch break).
- Hourly rate of £12.02.
- Overtime opportunities during busy periods.
- One Saturday morning per month paid at an overtime rate.
