Overview of role:
Deliver top-notch clerical and organisational assistance to the Sales department, meeting departmental standards. Demonstrate a proactive attitude in fulfilling all work responsibilities, ensuring departmental requirements are met. Exhibit superb administrative skills and exceptional customer service in daily tasks as the Sales Administrator.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handling various administrative tasks for the Sales Department of the manufacturing company.
- Assisting the Sales team in preparing quotations.
- Addressing internal department and finance inquiries.
- Updating internal and customer software systems with price changes.
- Conducting data analysis and preparing reports.
- Cultivating strong working relationships with all departments.
- Developing comprehensive product knowledge and understanding the clients, UK-purchased commodities and processes.
- Assisting in benchmarking activities.
- Supporting the analysis of supplier quotes and generating cost comparisons.
- Travel Expectations: Available to participate in customer visits as part of a team when necessary.
- Succession Position: Sales Coordinator.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in MS including Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.
- Experience using SAP.
- Ability to communicate verbally.
- Good organisation and time management skills.
- Sales experience within a manufacturing environment.
- One year working in a similar level role.
