About the Role:

As a Financial Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in steering the financial helm of the UK operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the business.
  • Crafting financial strategies through forecasting capital, facilities, and staffing needs.
  • Conducting meticulous budgeting and financial planning.
  • Ensuring adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
  • Identifying and navigating financial risks and opportunities.
  • Generating regular reports and summaries of financial activities.
  • Collaborating with various departments to align financial and business objectives.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with HMRC, financial service providers, and partners.

Skills & Experience

We are seeking a candidate who embodies the following qualities:

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certified.
  • Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Proven track record in a managerial role within the media industry.
  • Exceptional decision-making skills and leadership prowess.
  • Strong analytical acumen and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with financial software and MS Office suite.
