Central Employment is excited to announce an outstanding opportunity with one of our esteemed manufacturing clients based in Chorley. We are currently recruiting for a Finance Supervisor to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring precise documentation of daily transactions
• Verifying the accuracy of processed purchase invoices
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable with precision
• Maintaining precise records of inventory movements in and out of stock
• Enforcing stringent cash handling procedures and controls
• Updating internal systems as necessary
• Compiling quarterly financial reports
• Guaranteeing timely completion of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
• Providing assistance during financial audits
• Evaluating and implementing local financial procedures as needed
• Supervising and nurturing the professional growth of direct reports

Requirements:

• Substantial work experience as an office accountant, coupled with managerial responsibilities
• Demonstrated expertise in people management
• Proficiency in financial and accounting procedures
• Hands-on experience with financial software applications
• Advanced skills in MS Excel
• Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations
• Exceptional analytical and numerical capabilities
• Effective time management skills
• High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential data
