Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in the dynamic world of ophthalmic business? Our client, a leading player in the industry, is expanding their team and seeking a passionate Customer Service Assistant to join them for 2-4 weeks on a temp basis. Following the internal promotion of a team member, this is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of an established team of three.
About the Role:
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in our client’s operations, collaborating closely with their external sales team to ensure seamless order processing and exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming customer queries via telephone and email with professionalism and efficiency.
- Process sales orders accurately, maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Provide quotations and verify product availability and prices promptly.
- Collaborate with management to address and resolve complex customer issues.
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date customer records and databases.
- Contribute to general office and administration tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- An organised and systematic approach to tasks, with strong time-management abilities.
- A knack for building positive relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time, office-based position, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and a 4:30 pm finish on Fridays.
