Warehouse Operative - Permanent Opportunity
Location: Felling, Gateshead (NE10)
Salary: £12.71 per hour + £40 weekly attendance allowance
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am 4:30pm (3:30pm finish on Fridays)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Central Employment are recruiting a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established and growing business based in Felling, Gateshead.

The Role
Working as part of a busy warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring stock is received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining clean, organised, and safe warehouse storage areas
- Picking orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Receiving and booking in stock
- Ensuring all stock movements are recorded correctly
- Checking deliveries for damaged or missing items
- Assisting with the loading of outgoing orders
- Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet operational targets
About You
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have previous warehouse experience
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Work well as part of a team
- Are reliable, motivated, and proactive
- Have experience in a similar warehouse environment
- Hold an FLT licence (desirable but not essential)
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday
- 7:30am 4:30pm
- Early finish on Fridays at 3:30pm
- 40.25 hours per week
