Part-Time Quality Administrator
On behalf of our client, a well-established dental manufacturing company based in Billingham, we are recruiting for a Part-Time Quality Administrator to join their Quality team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual looking to develop their career within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will provide vital administrative support to the Quality department, ensuring documentation, records, and quality processes are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Document Control Log and support document control activities.
- Assist with document reviews and updates.
- Archive quality documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain the Reference Sample Archive.
- Provide administrative support for Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions.
- Support the ongoing maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Maintain and update the Continuous Improvement Log.
- Acknowledge and process quality-related emails from customers and suppliers.
- Coordinate testing samples for microbiological testing, water testing, product stability testing, and product challenge studies.
- Support the calibration programme by monitoring due dates and following up with relevant departments.
- Collate and archive calibration and service certificates.
- Support the Supplier Approval process and associated documentation.
- Register and maintain records of customer complaints.
- Issue QA-approved batch release labels.
- Record and support concession processes.
- Assist with the administration of Photographic Quality Standards.
- Support data collection and reporting for KPIs and departmental meetings.
- Assist the team with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits.
- Provide administrative support for the Compliance Coordinator and Formulations Specialist when required.
- Assist during customer, regulatory, and accreditation audits.
- Provide holiday and sickness cover within the Quality team.
- Undertake additional departmental and administrative duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous administration experience, ideally within a manufacturing, quality, compliance, or regulated environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage documentation efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional and proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience within quality assurance, dental, pharmaceutical, healthcare, food manufacturing, or scientific environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
