Trainee Paint Sprayer
Location: Hartlepool
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour during training, increasing upon successful completion of training and competency assessment.
About the Role
Our client, a leading door manufacturer based in Hartlepool, is seeking a Trainee Paint Sprayer to join their production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a skilled career within manufacturing. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in producing a high-quality finish, has excellent attention to detail, and adopts a careful, methodical approach to their work. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of doors and components prior to painting.
- Learning to operate paint spraying equipment safely and effectively.
- Applying paints, stains, lacquers, and finishes to doors and related products.
- Ensuring all products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Inspecting finished products and carrying out quality checks.
- Preparing surfaces through sanding, cleaning, masking, and other pre-spray processes.
- Maintaining paint spraying equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Working closely with colleagues to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Supporting other production departments when required.

- Previous manufacturing, production, painting, decorating, or finishing experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided.
Working Hours & Breaks
- Monday to Thursday
- 6:00am - 4:30pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Two paid 10-minute breaks per shift
