Location: Sunderland
Pay Rate: £13.07 per hour
Shifts: Weekend only – Saturday & Sunday
Hours: 10-hour shifts (Days & Nights Available)

We are currently recruiting Weekend Production Operatives to join a well-established plastic packaging manufacturer based in Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals looking for weekend work in a busy manufacturing environment.

The Role

Working within the Granulation Department, you will be responsible for supporting the recycling process by operating machinery and handling plastic materials safely and efficiently.

Duties include:
Operating granulation machinery
Sorting and processing plastic waste materials
Feeding materials into machinery
Monitoring production processes to ensure quality standards are met
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all health and safety procedures
Carrying out general housekeeping duties within the department
What we're looking for:
Previous manufacturing or production experience is beneficial but not essential
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to weekend shifts
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
