Calibration & Maintenance Coordinator

Central Employment are recruiting for a Technology Team Administrator on behalf of a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Northumberland.

This role will support the Technology Team with the coordination of laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration, servicing, and compliance activities. You will be responsible for ensuring records are maintained accurately, contractors are scheduled effectively, and GMP requirements are met.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate equipment calibration, maintenance, and service activities.
  • Liaise with external contractors and service providers.
  • Maintain accurate equipment and compliance records.
  • Organise routine maintenance schedules.
  • Support GMP documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with supplier administration and SAP-related activities.
  • Track equipment assets, calibration status, and spare parts.
  • Act as a point of contact for laboratory equipment queries.
  • Ensure GMP, safety, and housekeeping standards are followed.

The Person

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role.
  • Degree preferred, ideally in a science or engineering.
  • GMP and SAP experience would be beneficial.
