Central Employment are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing and highly successful property business to recruit a Finance Manager. Due to continued expansion, this is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that has become one of the leading operators within its sector across the region.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of the financial management of multiple group entities, whilst providing guidance and support to the wider accounts team.
The Role
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards using Sage Line 50
- Preparing annual year-end accounts across multiple entities for submission to external accountants
- Maintaining fixed asset registers
- Posting year-end journals and adjustments
- Maintaining creditor ledgers and ensuring supplier payments are made within agreed terms
- Producing regular financial information and reports for senior leadership
- Identifying process improvements and opportunities to increase efficiency across the finance function
- Acting as the first point of contact for the accounts team, providing support and guidance where required
About You
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant or similar position
- Strong working knowledge of Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent reconciliation, reporting and year-end accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Confident leadership skills with the ability to support and develop junior team members
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong problem-solving mindset
