About the role
Were currently recruiting for a Technical Assistant to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in Harrogate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous production experience to step into a technical-focused role within a fast-paced environment.
Youll play a key part in supporting the technical and quality teams, ensuring products meet food safety, legal, and customer standards at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the Technical team with day-to-day compliance and quality tasks
- Assisting with internal audits, documentation, and record keeping
- Maintaining accurate product specifications and technical paperwork
- Monitoring and supporting food safety and hygiene standards
- Liaising with production teams to ensure standards are met across the factory
- Assisting with supplier records and compliance checks
- Helping to keep the site audit-ready at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience within a food production / manufacturing environment (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Confident working in a fast-paced production setting
- Excellent communication and ability to work across teams
