Were working with a growing, forward-thinking digital agency looking to hire an SEO & Automation Content Specialist to strengthen their performance marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with circa 2 years agency experience who combines strong technical writing skills with a passion for SEO, content automation, and data-driven marketing.
The Role
Youll play a key role in creating and optimising high-performing, search-led content, while supporting the integration of automation tools and AI workflows to scale output and improve efficiency. Working closely with SEO, content, and technical teams, youll help deliver campaigns that drive organic growth for a diverse portfolio of clients
Key Responsibilities
- Produce SEO-optimised content across blogs, landing pages, and web copy
- Conduct keyword research, SERP analysis, and competitor audience
- Write clear, engaging, and technically accurate content across B2B and B2C sectors
- Implement and refine content automation workflows (AI tools, templates, process optimisation
- Support on-page SEO best practices (metadata, internal linking, structure, schema basics)
- Collaborate with developers and SEO specialists on technical content requirements
- Monitor and report on content performance, making data-led improvements
- Continuously explore new AI/automation tools to enhance content production and scalability
Experience:
- 2 years experience in a digital marketing agency (or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong technical writing ability able to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and content strategy
- Experience using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar
- Exposure to AI content tools or automation platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Jasper, Zapier, Make)
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working across multiple client projects and deadlines
