Factory Manager

Central Employment are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Factory Manager to oversee site operations across production, warehousing and hygiene.


The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the factory, ensuring production is delivered on time, in full, and to the highest quality standards

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on improving performance, driving efficiency and building a high-performing team culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all production, warehouse and hygiene operations (days & nights)
  • Deliver production targets while maintaining quality, safety and compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement across efficiency, yield and waste reduction
  • Lead, coach and develop operational teams
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, food safety and environmental standards
  • Utilise ERP systems to optimise performance and processes
  • Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Technical, HR and H&S teams

About You

  • Proven experience in a Factory / Production / Operations Manager role
  • Background in manufacturing (food/FMCG highly desirable)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience improving processes, productivity and performance
  • Knowledge of health & safety and regulatory compliance
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems and production data
