Engineering Sales Manager (Cathodic Protection)

We’re working with a leading engineering organisation to recruit an Engineering Sales Manager to support their Engineering and Site Services teams, driving growth across their Cathodic Protection (CP) business globally.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded engineer to combine technical expertise with sales, helping secure projects across oil & gas, utilities, and renewable sectors.


The Role

You will play a key role in developing new business, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality technical proposals. Working closely with internal teams and customers, you’ll support the full sales cycle from enquiry through to contract award.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical quotations, tenders, CP designs, and MTOs
  • Produce proposals for CP operations, surveys, and AC/DC interference studies
  • Support commercial negotiations, including contracts and payment terms
  • Drive new business development and grow key accounts
  • Engage with customers via meetings, site visits, and presentations
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and delivery teams
  • Represent the business at industry events and trade shows
  • Travel across the UK and internationally as required

Requirements

  • Experience in Cathodic Protection (CP), engineering, or project delivery
  • Proven sales or commercial experience within engineering
  • Understanding (or interest) in CP design, reporting, and proposals
  • Degree in Engineering, STEM, or Business (preferred)
  • AMPP / ICorr Level 3 or 4 (desirable)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Commercial awareness with a proactive, customer-focused mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
