Production Operative (Shotblast Operative)
Starting Salary: £12.71 - £14.43 per hour (+ shift allowance)
Hours: 37 hours per week (3 weekly shift rotation: day shift, back shift and night shift)
Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Production Operative (Shotblast Operative) to work within a highly skilled, dynamic environment in the precision fabrication and multi-plate processing industry. The Production Operative will work alongside the Primary Supervisor and the wider team to support daily production operations.

Job Role
- Following part set-up sheets and customer work schedules
- Using hand tools
- Operating shot blast machines
- Completing daily operation, TPM (total preventative/production maintenance) and pre-operation check sheets
- Completing tasks using engineering drawings
- Inspecting quality of parts to maintain high standards and completing first-off checks
- Inspecting all equipment to ensure it is in a safe working condition
- Supporting with other ad hoc duties as requested by your line manager (within the scope of your skills and capabilities)
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in weld dressing is beneficial but not essential
- Experience within the manufacturing sector is beneficial but not essential
- Experience using engineering drawings is beneficial but not essential
- Comprehensive training will be provided upon commencement, with ongoing development opportunities
