Starting Salary: £12.37 - £14.43 per hour + shift allowance
Hours: 37 hours per week (3 weekly shift rotation: day shift, back shift and night shift)
Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Production Operative (Plasma Cutting Beds) to work within a highly skilled, dynamic environment in the precision fabrication and multi-plate processing industry. The Production Operative will work alongside the Primary Supervisor and the wider team to support daily production operations.

Job Role
- Following set-up procedures
- Operating plasma cutting beds
- Using hand tools such as dial calipers, vernier digital calipers and measuring equipment
- Completing daily operation, TPM (total preventative/production maintenance) and pre-operation check sheets
- Completing documentation accurately
- Carrying out manual handling tasks
- Completing tasks using engineering drawings
- Inspecting quality of parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Inspecting all equipment to ensure it is in a safe working condition
- Supervising machines while they execute tasks and making adjustments where required
- Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality
- Supporting with other ad hoc duties as requested by your line manager (within the scope of your skills and capabilities)
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience using plasma cutting beds is essential
- Previous experience working within the manufacturing sector is essential
- Experience operating handheld tools is desirable but not essential
- Experience using engineering drawings is beneficial but not essential
- Full training will be provided upon commencement, with ongoing development opportunities
