Our client is currently recruiting experienced Thermal Insulation Engineers for an upcoming outage at the Alpek site in Redcar. This is an excellent opportunity to secure short-term shutdown work with the possibility of further ongoing projects.
Thermal Insulation Engineer
Location: Alpek Site, Redcar
Rate: £25 per hour
Duration: Starting WC 27/04 for 2 weeks, with potential to extend or lead to further work
Key Responsibilities
Removal and reinstatement of thermal insulation and cladding
Insulating pipework, vessels, tanks, and associated equipment
Installing metal jacketing (aluminium/stainless steel)
Working to outage schedules and site safety procedures
Liaising with supervisors and other trades on site
Essential Requirements
Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
Valid TICA Card
Proven experience as a Thermal Insulation Engineer on industrial or petrochemical sites
Ability to work to a high standard under outage conditions
Full PPE and strong safety awareness
