FLT Reach Truck Driver

As a Forklift Truck Driver, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

• Safely and efficiently operate Reach and potentially Counterbalance forklift trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Perform line feeding duties to ensure the continuous supply of materials to production lines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or damage to goods.
• Conduct regular inspections of the forklift truck to ensure its optimal functioning.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production demands.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to inventory, product movement, and any incidents or damages.

The ideal candidate possesses the following qualities:

• Reach forklift truck experience. Out of date licenses are accepted as long as you are a competent driver.
• Alternatively, any previous counterbalance experience is considered as the company will convert your licenses.
• Proven experience operating a forklift truck in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

We offer 3 different shift patterns to suit different preferences:
dayshift only 
£12.71 an hour

2 shift £14.30

7am - 15:10pm 

Overtime rates: Time and a half and double time

Pay reviews every 12 months based on performance and time and attendance records
