Central Employment is recruiting Reach Truck Operators for a leading automotive engineering company supplying renowned manufacturers including Nissan, Jaguar, and Land Rover.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Reach Truck Operators to join a busy manufacturing environment offering competitive pay rates, overtime opportunities, ongoing training, and genuine prospects for long-term career progression.
The Role
As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Safely operating Reach Trucks to move stock, materials, and finished goods throughout the facility
- Supporting production through effective line feeding and material replenishment
- Loading, unloading, and transporting goods in line with operational requirements
- Completing daily vehicle and safety checks
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures and site regulations
- Maintaining accurate stock movement and inventory records
- Working closely with production and warehouse teams to achieve targets
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have previous Reach Truck experience
- Hold an in-date or expired Reach Truck licence (expired licences may be accepted subject to competency assessment)
- Alternatively have Counterbalance experience and are willing to undertake Reach Truck conversion training
- Have experience working within a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
- Possess strong health and safety awareness
- Are reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have good attention to detail and organisational skills
Shift Patterns & Pay
Day Shift
£12.71 per hour
Two-Shift Rotation
£14.30 per hour
- 07:00 - 15:10
- 16:35 - 00:45
- Friday: 15:10 - 23:10
Three-Shift Rotation
£15.04 per hour
- 07:00 - 15:30
- 15:30 - 23:20
- 23:20 - 07:00
