Food Production Operative (JOB-4641)

Location: Harrogate
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
Shifts Available: Day Shift, Night Shift & Weekend Availability

Due to continued company growth, Central Employment is recruiting Food Production Operatives and Experienced Bakers to join a friendly and supportive food production team based in Harrogate.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business producing a range of bakery, meat, hotplate and new product lines. Multiple vacancies are available, with working hours and salary dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare, weigh, and mix ingredients in line with production specifications.
• Bake breads, prepare meat and hotplate products, and support other production activities.
• Pack finished products, ensuring correct labelling and quality standards are met.
• Carry out quality checks and report any issues to supervisors.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the production area.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve daily production targets.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within a food production, bakery, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
• Experienced bakers are encouraged to apply.
• Comfortable working within a chilled environment.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual duties.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
