Location: Harrogate
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm

Central Employment is recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a well-established food manufacturing company based in Harrogate. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with a reputable employer, working within a busy and supportive production environment.

The role involves working with both raw and cooked meat products in chilled and frozen areas, ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and productivity are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently meet daily production targets
• Load raw products onto cooking plates within the low-risk production area
• Follow all company procedures, processes, and health & safety guidelines
• Slice, weigh, pack, and label cooked products within the high-risk area
• Adhere to Critical Control Points (CCPs) and food safety requirements
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the workplace
• Support colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day production operations

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working in chilled production environments
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Previous food production or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
• Physically fit and able to remain on your feet for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence required
