Forklift Driver

Central Employment are currently recruiting Forklift Truck Drivers for a long-term client based in Ashington.

We are looking for candidates with a valid, in-date FLT licence (no in-house certificates accepted). A Bendi licence is preferred; however, applicants with a Counterbalance licence will also be considered. Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or factory environment is desirable.
FLT driver - Must have in-date license (No in house certificates)

Location: NE63 (Ashington)
Pay Rate: £12.96 per hour, increasing to £13.49 after 12 weeks
Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:00am – 12:45pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading deliveries
  • Moving stock and materials around the warehouse and factory
  • Ensuring deliveries are stored safely
  • Picking stock accurately
  • Maintaining health and safety standards
  • Keeping the department clean and organised

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • A valid FLT licence
  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Previous FLT and warehouse experience (preferred)
