Production & Warehouse with FLT

Production Operative 
Location: Hetton-le-Hole, County Durham DH5

Job Type: Full-Time 12 weeks temp to perm for the right candidate.

Working Hours: Rotating Shifts

Dayshift 07.00 to 15.00 Mon to Fri

Back shift 15.00 to 23.00 Mon to Thurs then 13.00 to 21.00 Fri

Night shift 23.00 to 0.700 commencing on a Sunday night.

1x15 mins break paid

1x30 mins break unpaid

Pay rate
Dayshift: £12.71
Back shift: £14.20 per hour
Nights shift: £16.04 per hour

The Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Operative to join our dynamic team. In this busy production and warehouse environment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the production line, including mixing, packaging, and labeling of spices.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure PPE is maintained and used correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in both the production and warehouse spaces.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Work efficiently to meet production and dispatch targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to adhere to all safety and PPE requirements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
