Assembly Operative

Location: Sunderland, SR5
Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour, rising to £14.67 per hour after 12 weeks (including shift allowance)
Shifts: Rotating Days & Lates, Monday to Friday

Central Employment is currently recruiting Assembly Operatives on behalf of a leading automotive seating manufacturer in Sunderland. The Role

As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling front and rear vehicle seating components within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll play an important part in ensuring products meet strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling automotive seating components on a production line
• Using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
• Reporting faults, defects or production issues promptly
• Following work instructions and health and safety procedures
• Maintaining high standards of quality and productivity

What We're Looking For

• Previous assembly, production or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
• Good manual dexterity and practical skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual and flexible with overtime when required
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay & Benefits

• £14.25 per hour
• Pay increase to £14.67 per hour after 12 weeks

Shift Pattern

Rotating Weekly Shifts (Monday to Friday):

Days: 06:42am - 3:00pm
Lates: 4:30pm - 12:48am
