As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Efficiently working on a fast-paced production line Setting up and operating plastic injection moulding machines Meeting set production targets Conducting visual quality inspections of finished products The ideal candidate possesses the following qualities: Flexibility to work overtime, including Saturdays, as required Demonstrated ability to learn and operate machinery Willingness to learn and progress within the company Availability to commit to a designated shift pattern Ability to thrive under tight targets and deadlines Previous experience using Injection moulding machines is advantageous but not essential We offer two shift patterns to suit different preferences: 2 Shift Hours: Dayshift: Monday to Friday, 0700 am to 1510 pm Late shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:35 pm to 12:45 am; Friday, 3:20 pm to 11:10 pm Overtime of one hour may be required after each shift, potentially ending work at 1:15 am on late shifts 3 Shift Hours: Nights: Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am Days: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:40 pm Lates: Monday to Friday, 15:30 pm to 11:50 pm Pay rates: 2 Shift: Starting rate of £14.87 3 Shift: Starting rate of £15.64 Minimum of 39 hours per week, excluding overtime Overtime rates: Time and a half and double time Pay reviews every 12 months based on performance and time and attendance records This role offers immense potential for progression as our factory continues to expand.
