Our esteemed client, a leading farm operation renowned for its premium produce, is actively seeking Packing Operatives to join their dynamic team. If you’re ready to embark on a rewarding journey, this role is for you!
Location: Burnopfield, NE16
Payrate: £11.44 per hour, with overtime opportunities available.
Shift Pattern: Day Shift Only, 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
About the Role: As a Packing Operative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our client’s farm-fresh produce, including eggs. From carefully handling and packaging eggs to maintaining inventory levels. You must be comfortable dealing with livestock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack farm produce, including eggs, according to quality standards.
- Handle eggs with care to prevent breakage and ensure product integrity.
- Conduct thorough quality checks to uphold product excellence.
- Be comfortable in a farm environment (working with livestock)
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Physical dexterity and ability to handle fragile items like eggs
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality assurance
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Previous experience in egg packing or a similar role is advantageous but not required
