Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour + £35 weekly shift allowance (where applicable)
Shifts: 8:00am - 4:30pm or 4:00pm - 12:10am
40 Hours Per Week | Overtime Available
Central Employment is recruiting Packers to join a well-established manufacturing business in Thirsk. Our client provides specialist manufacturing and packaging services across a range of industries, including pharmaceutical, agricultural, horticultural, and fine chemical sectors.

The Role
As a Packer, you'll play a key role in supporting the manufacturing and packaging process while ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of the manufacturing and packaging process.
- Weigh, pack, and label finished products ready for dispatch.
- Carry out manual handling duties involving products and equipment up to 25kg.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic working environment.
- Take ownership of your work area and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
- Carry out product quality checks and report any issues.
- Comply with food safety, food security, HACCP, allergen, and quality procedures.
- Follow company procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.

- Computer literacy is advantageous but not essential.
