Food Production Operative

Location: Harrogate
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm

Central Employment is recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a well-established food manufacturing company based in Harrogate. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a respected employer, working within a busy, friendly, and supportive production environment.

Working with both raw and cooked meat products in chilled and frozen areas, you'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Meeting daily production targets safely and efficiently.
• Loading raw products onto cooking plates within the low-risk production area.
• Following company procedures, processes, and health & safety requirements.
• Slicing, weighing, packing, and labelling cooked products within the high-risk production area.
• Adhering to Critical Control Points (CCPs) and food safety standards.
• Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the workplace.
• Supporting colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working in chilled production environments.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Previous food production or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Physically fit and able to remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Full UK driving licence required.
