Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver
Location: Stanley, DH9
Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts, 6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £15.05 per hour
Central Employment is recruiting an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver on behalf of our client based in Stanley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business offering competitive pay, ongoing support, and opportunities for progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a busy warehouse and production environment.
- Load, unload, and move stock efficiently throughout the facility.
- Carry out routine checks on equipment and report any defects.
- Ensure all goods are handled and stored correctly.
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain smooth day-to-day operations and achieve productivity targets.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence/certification.
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT in an industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
