Mill Cleaner – Darlington

Central Employment is acting as a recruitment agency to recruit a Mill Cleaner for a busy manufacturing site based in Darlington. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning duties within a mill environment
• Sweeping, mopping, and keeping floors clear of debris
• Operating a floor buffer to maintain clean and polished surfaces
• Cleaning at low levels to ensure thorough coverage of all areas
• Adhering to site health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Previous cleaning or industrial experience preferred but not essential
• Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or mill setting
• Reliable and punctual

Additional Information

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm
• Location: Darlington
• Pay: £12.71 per hour paid weekly
• Contract Type: Temporary with potential to become permanent
• Work Environment: Friendly and supportive
