Standing with Changing Lives
Last year, we were proud to raise over £10,000 for Changing Lives, a local charity that provides vital support to individuals and families facing homelessness and hardship. The need for this support has never been greater. In 2024, approximately 345,000 people in the UK experienced homelessness-a staggering 20% increase from the previous year. Among them, over 118,000 were young people, with a child becoming homeless every four minutes. These are not just numbers; they represent real people, real families, and real challenges.
With the help of our donations, Changing Lives delivers essential resources such as emergency food parcels, hygiene kits, welcome packs, and warm clothing to those in immediate need. More than that, the charity offers training and support to help individuals take their next steps towards employment and stability, aligning closely with our own mission to empower people through opportunity.
Our CSR in Action: Events and Volunteering
Central’s partnership with Changing Lives is ongoing. In 2025, we are committed to supporting the charity through a series of fundraising and volunteering initiatives, including:
