Looking to start a career in construction? Our fully funded 5-day Introduction to Construction programme is designed to help you gain the qualifications, knowledge and confidence needed to enter the industry.
Delivered in South Tyneside and funded by South Tyneside Council, this course is ideal for South Tyneside residents who are looking to improve their employment prospects and gain their CSCS card.
During the course, you will:
✅ Gain a Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment
✅ Learn about the construction industry, site safety, and employer expectations
✅ Prepare for and complete your CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test
✅ Receive your CSCS Card upon successful completion
✅ Develop essential employability skills, including CV writing, job search support and interview preparation
✅ Receive information on further training and progression opportunities within the construction sector
