Workshop Operative Job in Thornaby | £11.00 per hour

Central Employment is currently seeking a Workshop Operative to join our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Thornaby. Our client specializes in fabricating airport solutions for fueling aircraft and is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team.

As a Workshop Operative, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the fabrication of ground fuel hydrant pits. You will utilize a variety of hand tools, including grinders, drills, spanners, and wrenches, to ensure that all components are added and fitted to company standards. Additionally, you will be required to perform regular inspections of equipment and maintain it properly.

We are looking for a team player who is willing to work independently as well as part of a team, has a positive work attitude, and a strong work ethic. MIG welding experience is an added advantage, but it is not essential for the role.

Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with an early finish at 1:30 pm on Fridays. This position offers a pay rate of £11.00 per hour.

Location: Teesside Industrial Estate – Thornaby on Tees TS17.

Please note that this role is temporary to permanent, with potential for a long-standing career. We require the ideal candidate to have their safety boots (not fabric) and supply their own overalls.
