Central Employment are looking to recruit a creative Social Media & Marketing Campaign Manager,  joining an expanding Communications team who are part of a leading UK B2B services organisation.  

Job Overview

  • Create email campaigns and orchestrate the delivery
  • Organise, manage and produce social channel  platform activities (uploading content, SEO and promotion)
  • Create awareness of and develop the brand/campaigns you’re marketing
  • Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships (online engagement and community building)
  • Grow social communities in line with marketing strategy
  • Help ideate and orchestrate marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing and email/social campaigns
  • Support the head of digital marketing and head of content with communicating and outreach agreed activities
  • Work closely with in-house design to create marketing materials for content outreach
  • Write and proofread marketing copy for email and social campaigns
  • Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
  • Periodically attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions
  • Build workflows and automated email campaigns for lead acquisition, nurturing, and retention
  • Orchestrate the effective distribution of marketing materials
  • Maintain and update customer databases
  • Conduct market research (for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups)
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Develop and implement content strategy (omni-channel campaign distribution, growth and engagement goals)
  • Evaluate and review marketing campaigns and statistic to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective
  • Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity
  • Contribute to writing editorial and social content

Technical Requirements 

  • Creative ability to ideate, build, develop and orchestrate email campaigns (with the structure and organisation to follow up, report and follow through on campaign performance)
  • 3/5 yrs dedidated experience as a senior executive would be essential
  • Technical ability to build, develop and orchestrate email campaigns (with relevant software)
  • Experience with Drip, Mailchimp, Campaign Manager and email campaign software would be beneficial
  • Experience in social publishing and social listening tools (such as Hoostsuite and Sprout Social)
  • Ability to use Adobe Photoshop and Canva would be also beneficial
  • Video editing capabilities with iMovie and Adobe Premier would be a positive
  • Microsoft Office and Teams understanding (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • CSS/HTML skills and understanding of typography would be desirable
