Central Employment are working in partnership with a leading and established B2B Marketing agency, as they look to appoint a highly creative Social Media Content Writer.
This role sits within a fast‑paced agency environment, working across multi‑channel social media campaigns for a range of clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a creative or digital agency, with a proven track record of writing high‑performing content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Meta (Facebook).
Key Responsibilities
- Write compelling, on‑brand social media copy for B2B clients across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms
- Develop copy aligned to campaign objectives, customer journeys, and platform‑specific best practices
- Collaborate closely with designers, social strategists, and account managers to deliver cohesive campaigns
- Create content for a range of formats including:
- Organic posts
- Paid social ads
- Carousel copy
- Short‑form video captions
- Campaign messaging frameworks
- Adapt tone of voice to suit different industries, audiences, and brand guidelines
- Manage multiple briefs simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Review and refine copy based on performance insights and client feedback
- Contribute ideas for social content, campaigns, and creative angles
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an agency environment
- Proven experience writing B2B social media content
- Demonstrable experience delivering social media campaigns, not just ad‑hoc posts
- Strong understanding of:
- LinkedIn for B2B growth and engagement
- Instagram content strategy and captions
- Meta (Facebook) copy for both organic and paid campaigns
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear, engaging social content
- High level of attention to detail and strong time management skills
