Central Employment are delighted to be working exclusively with a highly regarded North East digital media consultancy, as they looking to recruit a Senior Paid Media Manager (PPC/Paid Social).  

Overview of the Senior Paid Media Manager:

Working closely with the MD and Account Directors you will help generate new accounts by advising on paid media strategy and working to “on-board” new accounts into the business.  You will be the driving force behind the paid digital media product offering for the agency, and will involve work closely with the Managing Director to help roll out and further develop this business area.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Paid Media Manager:

  • Reporting to the Managing Director
  • Advising clients on paid digital media strategy across both paid search and paid social
  • Working with account team to deliver pitches
  • Working with directors to acquire new business, and transition new accounts
  • Working with existing accounts to help grow their investment into digital paid media
  • Working on the day to day running of paid digital media accounts
  • Working with the client to brief out and manage the delivery of digital assets
  • Working with all staff to help then grow individually and also as a team
  • Working with the analytics team to develop and deliver on time media reporting for clients
  • Building a Digital team as the department / function grows

Essential  Skills/Experience:

  • Experienced PPC Manager/Senior PPC Manager with experience in Google Ads and Bing Ads
  • Ideally working / worked within a dedicated & reputable Paid Search/Digital Media Agency
  • Google AdWords Certification
  • Google Shopping experience
  • Demonstratable E-commerce Experience
  • Experience at planning / managing paid social campaigns with FB / Insta Certification

Successful candidates traits

  • IT literate, particularly using Excel and presentation software;
  • Self-motivated and results orientated, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on delivering a high quality of service/output;
  • A natural forward planner who is adaptable and able to multi-task;
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including negotiation and presentation skills;
  • Good organisation and time management;
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities for working with diverse clients and colleagues;
  • Ability to work calmly and proactively under pressure;
  • Good business acumen and the ability to maximise budgets and profit for the agency;
