Central Employment are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading, independent cross media agency in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are looking to expand, with the appointment of a Senior Media Account Executive.
Senior Media Account Executive profile:
As part of this role the Senior Media Account Executive will work across a range of different client sectors within the agencies AV portfolio. This will vary from online casinos, beauty, exercise equipment to homeware goods among others. This role will report directly into the AV Account Manager and will help manage Account executive workloads.
Key responsibilities:
- Follow the buying process from start to finish without input from AM/AD
- Owning personal and team gaps in knowledge and making sure they are addressed
- Own the output across assigned clients
- Able to explain our processes confidently to clients
- Go into deeper analysis with client schedules (dayparts, consec breaks, channel analysis)
- Confident in escalating issues within saleshouses without involving AM/AD immediately
- Will feel confident in regularly carrying out Techedge tasks requested by the AM/AD when requested
- Ensuring campaigns are delivered in line with the client’s strategy and objectives
- Monitoring and updating the internal media reconciliation process (including delivery and quality reccies)
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to produce relevant reporting
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Running post campaign analysis (e.g. coverage)
- Working with analytical team to produce client reporting and results
- Providing TV viewing performance figures to support the account team in the planning process
- Ensuring TV advert copy is scheduled correctly
- Keeping on top of deadlines without outside intervention from AM/AD
- Ensuring the agency’s media planning resources and systems are updated
- Keeping up to date on new and relevant developments in the advertising industry
- Developing the agencies capability across programmatic buying across BVOD / VOD
Candidate requirements:
- 12/18 months media media planning experience
- Strong understanding of AV
- Experienced / confident using Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication, including negotiation and presentation skills
- Good organisation and time management
- Excellent interpersonal abilities for working with a diverse range clients, suppliers and colleagues
- Ability to work calmly and proactively under pressure
- Good business acumen and the ability to maximise budgets
- Confident, enthusiastic and energetic
- Approachable, outgoing and diplomatic
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical thinker
- Self-motivated and able to manage own workload
- Not essential however experience using Google’s DV360 or Trade Desk would be advantageous
