Joining the senior management team, reporting to the MD, the successful Sales Manager will play a pivotal part of the firms growth and development.
Purpose of the Sales Manager:
As Sales Manager, you will take ultimate responsibility and authority for managing the Sales department. In summary terms – the priority is the achievement of the company sales revenue targets. This will be achieved through managing and coaching respective staff & performance, achieving departmental measurables & budgets whilst overseeing all sales generation and conversion tasks.
Primary focus & main responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
Ultimate accountability and responsibility for growing annual sales revenues.
Coaching, inspiring and motivating a sales team
Driving team performance to meet sales targets
Provide sales training, development and performance management
Develop sales strategies to support success and growth
Develop and maintain first class customer account management
Disciplined usage of CRM system
Identify customer needs and find opportunities to provide new and existing solutions to customers
Overseeing customer complaints and enquiries
Providing QA measures, check and balances
Forecasting and analysing sales data
Regular reporting of KPI’s to SMT and Managing Director
A background from a technical sector – Managed Service Provider, Software as a Service, Technology focused products or solutions. Capable and experienced in growing a sales force from the ground upwards and maybe worked within an SME as an Internal Sales Manager, Sales Operations Manager
