Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with customers via telephone, email and in person.
Proactively gain understanding of the customers‘ requirements and question to understand their business and future needs making recommendations on IT and AV products.
Grow existing customers‘ turnover according to targets.
Actively generate new sales activity by identifying and focusing on the acquisition of new customers.
Face to face visits with both new and existing customers.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline, tracking progress and sharing each week/month the actions and activities to be carried out in order to achieve the region’s revenue target.
Manage and analyse pipeline and identify opportunities and threats to your target.
Become fluent in all products offered in order to be able to identify and match customer needs.
Work closely with teams throughout the business to help build strategies for up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.
Collate and feed back to the business future buying trends or needs.
Fully utilise the CRM documenting relevant information and opportunities.
Attend sales team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
Facilitation of sales admin tasks directly or via the sales admin team including, but not limited to, order processing, producing quotes and providing consignment updates to customers.
Attending trade exhibitions and industry events and networking.
Continually drive improvements and suggest new ideas to grow our business.
Respond quickly and efficiently to the customers ensuring an exceptional customer experience

Qualifications, Skills and Experience (Essential)
A demonstrable ability to sell and achieve given targets.
A good background in generating new sales and activities as well as managing key accounts.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills both verbally and written with fluency across a wide range of media including telephone, email, and web chat as well as in-person meetings.
A positive, confident and determined approach.
Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection.
A high degree of self-motivation and ambition.
Ability to use initiative and have a solution orientated attitude.
Fulfillment of tasks in a professional and timely manner within the Lindy culture of understanding and learning putting the customer at the forefront of everything that we do.
Excellent time management and self-organisation skills.
Able to achieve results and company targets through efficiency and relationship building.
Must be a team player who is adaptable with the ability to work on their own and with others
Computer literate and competence using systems such as Sage CRM, Sage 200, and Microsoft Packages, especially Excel, Dynamics, Microsoft 365.
A full and clean driving licence.
A degree or foundation in business, management, marketing, technology or computing.
A good knowledge of IT and AV products and an ability to communicate this to your customers.
