Central Employment are delighted to be working with a fast growing Digital Marketing and Design agency, as they look to recruit a driven and ambitious Sales Development Executive. 

 

Main Purpose of Job:

We’re looking for a flexible and versatile new business sales professional who will assist in the targeting of new clients. We are looking to employ a person who will be responsible for the generation and qualification of all company leads, then working with the broader team to convert prospects into new clients. Opportunity to develop role into more advanced sales role over time and with results.

Main Tasks of the Job:

Actively prospecting to find our new business sales opportunities and then work with the broader team to convert to customers.

Responding to inbound enquiries and qualifying through a rigorous process from lead to opportunity stage.

Actively outreaching to potential new clients and building relationships and creating commercial opportunities.

Clear understanding of how to qualify opportunities thoroughly and to maintain a complete prospect list and accurate forecast.

Meeting prospects face to face and developing new sales opportunities for the company.

The successful candidate will be experienced in B2B sales environments targeting customers with £30k+ projects and have a track record of exceeding sales targets.

The role is initially focussed on the early stages of sales ie lead to prospect, but is likely to develop over time to allow promotion to a more general business development role.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

Desirable Skills/Knowledge:

– A can-do approach with energy and enthusiasm.
– Confident outgoing approach to sales, with an ability to connect with people either in person or on the telephone and build long-term relationships.
– Working knowledge of CRM Systems.
– Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
– Highly organised and confident.
– Ability to work to very specific activity-based KPI’s.
– Experience in a Marketing and e-commerce environment an advantage.

Qualifications / Experience:

– Experience in B2B sales
– At least 3 years experience in a new business role
– Experience working toward targets and goals
