Central Employment are working as a dedicated recruitment partner to boutique digital and creative led agency, Multi Media Creative based in Castle Eden, County Durham. Due to demand of their services and solutions , they require an ambitious Project Account Executive to join their project management team.

The individual will be full of ideas, and enjoys being immersed in projects from beginning-to-end – delivering to a high standard, and comfortable with changing priorities, delivering a high level of service to a highly engaged and challenging client base.

Their approach is to work in partnership with clients, and therefore their project team will work hand-in-hand with the client from the beginning to the end of a project.  The project team are the owners of each project, and therefore the Account Executive would have visibility of all live projects in the team, that can be up to 15/ 20 at any time.

For this reason, the individual will have internal project management support responsibilities, and will be responsible for supporting the internal co-ordination, cross-functional management and overall tempo of projects.  However, despite being described as a ‘support’ role, the individual would have direct relationships and contact with clients.

The individual will also be highly motivated, to work with global clients and with complex challenges.  They will need a strong logical aptitude, as they will also be dealing with developers who rely on this structure and logic to be able to deliver a project.

Experience required:

The individual, should have aspirations to become a Project Manager/ Client Manager, and should have at least two years of experience in a related role or roles.

  • Creative – ability to see the brief from a user point of view, and suggest new ideas and approaches
  • Proactive – the ability to anticipate client needs, scenario/ contingency plan, and be seen as an extension of the client’s team

Client Relations/Communication Skills

  • High level of communication skill, with the ability to take challenging feedback in a positive manner
  • Cross functional – ability to lead a team on a project that will include a designer, a front end/ UX developer and a lead developer, with also involvement from agency directors
  • Presents complex data or messages in clear, succinct, compelling manner to clients and team members, to keep the tempo high and the team on-brief
  • Comfortable having discussions with individuals on both client and agency side at all levels of the organisation, unafraid to speak their mind

Interpersonal/Leadership Skills

  • Strong attention to detail
  • A desire to problem solve a client brief, and ask ‘what else?’
  • A desire to manage complex priorities
  • Strong overall administration, with financial acumen to ensure up-to-date timesheets, timely and accurate budgets
  • Strong interpersonal, skills, especially listening
