Central Employment are delighted to be working with a leading North East Professional Services organisation, as they look to expand there in-house Marketing & Business Development team, with an ambitious and creative Content Executive.
Newcastle based initially, with hybrid working options post training and on-boarding period.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on producing a brief to encapsulate the key messages to be contained in any content
- Consider the best primary and secondary forms of communication,
- Author content appropriate for the channel on which it will be shared, applying the firm’s tone of voice in an engaging, entertaining and informative way, or collaborate on team briefs where not a written piece
- Re-purpose that content to ensure we maximise the impact and reach of each piece of content
- Work with others in the team to ensure the effective distribution of the content across channels, including social media website, membership body channels, and media outlets through press releases
- Build relationships with key media outlets to ensure a positive response when sharing press release stories.
- Work alongside our strategic PR consultant to ensure adherence to the organisations PR strategy and approach
- With others in the Content team, interpret and review the effectiveness of content at achieving the desired outcomes, and adapt approach as a result
- Work with the Technical Sales Writer and Design Manager to develop and keep up to date standard sector “brochures” which best describe and promote our skills base and experience.
- Work with internal stakeholders and the Digital Marketing Executive to produce expert content / insights under the core pillar topics, currently net zero, modern workplace (people) and good business.
Experience required:
- Executed a range of PR & Content activities
- Experience of balancing multiple projects at once
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and in writing and interpersonal skills
- Awareness of best practice in terms of channels and messaging
- Ability to work with and influence people at all levels
- Considerable organisational skills, able to balance a wide range of priorities
- Strong problem solving and creative skills
- Can develop positive and consultative relationships (internally and externally) quickly, and gain the respect of others for their contributions
