Central Employment are delighted to be supporting a global digital organisation that house a number of recognised brands as clients.  They require a Digital Client Services Manager to join their leadership team, based in the North East.

Digital Client Services Manager purpose: 

The ideal candidate will match the role described below and work alongside some of the UK’s most respected and promoted brands; creating, refining and optimising digital and media strategies & campaigns.
In this role you will be expected to own every aspect of your clients campaigns; building strong relationships and taking overall responsibility for everything from quality of work completed through to devising award-worthy, innovative & insight driven strategies. As an important member of the agency your focus should always be on delivering the best results for our clients.

Exceptions of the Digital Client Services Manager: 

• Ability to apply knowledge of how to leverage core digital media channels
• Demonstrable understanding of the broader digital media landscape
• Owns or plays a leading role in the agency’s relationship with clients, both professionally and socially, to build professional trust and influence leading to loyalty and reliance
• Holds a highly commercial understanding of the client’s business – business parameters objectives and priorities.
• Plays a leading role in client meetings, developing compelling client documents and presentations
• Runs account activity; managing for quality control by applying both due process and creative problem solving
• Turns account data into insightful and strategic conclusions, ideas and recommendations
• Takes ownership of client budget allocation advice and makes evidenced and effective decisions
• Applies expert knowledge, commercial awareness and influencing skills to maximise account profitability, including reviewing added value products in order to maximise cross sell opportunities
• Works with Finance function to manage invoicing, debtors, exposure, and other terms of business/ commercial practices
• Collects, contributes to and delivers relevant and high quality marketplace insights to clients, demonstrating value and ensuring brans are the preferred source of marketplace insight
• Manages and develops junior personnel effectively with the support of HR and/ or a Director

o high client retention
o client profitability control
o cross-selling and new business generation
o maximising the potential of junior staff
o other internal agency improvement projects

Essential experience: 

  • A strong POV on digital performance backed up with experience
  • Excellent client management skills with a proven track record of working with senior clients
  • Strong presentation skills
  • A good knowledge of marketing principles & strategy
  • Excellent project management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to pre-empt problems and be pro-active in producing solutions
  • A high degree of numeracy and literacy
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strategic planning and management skills
  • Manage numerous projects and consistently to deliver high-quality work to timescale
  • A strong grasp of digital marketing methods and results driven performance metrics
  • An understanding of brand planning and advertising awareness measurement
  • A willingness to learn new marketing concepts and challenge conventional wisdom
