Central Employment are working in partnership with a fast growing digital performance organisation, market leaders in providing online retailers, eCommerce focussed organisation web solutions and digital performance products.
They are looking to recruit a proven and ambitious Digital Business Development Manager (eCommerce), to develop their client portfolio across the North West. The role will be remotely based, however training/on-boarding will conducted from their HQ in the North East, plus regular visits.
Purpose of the Digital Business Development Manager:-
The role of a Digital Business Development Manager is to build and manage a portfolio of SME, online retail clients using core products/tools to help enhance online sales and digital performance. Previous experience in new busness, solution selling is preferred as they need prospective applicants who are confident in approaching potential clients and are able to demonstrate a consultative nature, where the long term goal of client success is a priority.
Overview of the Digital Business Development Manager role:-
● New business acquisition
● Identifying potential customers & qualify leads
● Generation of own leads & online meetings
● Consultative pitching to key eCommerce decision makers at a senior level
● Achieving and exceeding monthly targets

● Ability to communicate effectively on all levels
● Explain complex digital solutions in a way that clients will understand

● Create and present digital solutions and products
● Ability to nuture a full sales cycle from inital outreach, demo through to close
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 3 years dedicated experience
- Strong knowledge of selling digital solutions
- Understanding of the online retail and eCommerce sector, especially at SME level
- A digital agency background
- Strong eCommerce, Online Retail network across the North West of the UK
